Speak out about crimes against children – Cyril Ramaphosa

"It is crucial for parents to know their children’s whereabouts at all times.  They must also have open communication lines with their children in order for children to feel free to express themselves to their parents.
Community members should never feel that they are intruding by reporting suspected child abuse and/or neglect as this can potentially save the life of a child.  The Children’s Act actually prescribes that any concerned person should report to the relevant authorities such as Child Welfare Tshwane or SAPS.
As a Child Protection NGO we as Child Welfare Tshwane rely heavily on the goodwill of our community members to see to it that we can continue to render vital services to our communities’ children and families." Dineo Daly Risk Assessment Manager of Child Welfare Thswane
